First government-funded tree of Northern Forest takes root

Forestry Minister David Rutley has today planted the first government-funded tree of the Northern Forest alongside the Woodland Trust, Community Forest Trust, Tree Champion Sir William Worsley and students from St Andrew’s CE Primary School in Radcliffe.

Environment Secretary and Keep Britain Tidy launch ‘Keep it, Bin it’ campaign
